Welcome to The
Las Vegas Center for Spiritual Living.
Our Center provides spiritual tools
to transform our lives
. . . and make the world a better place
Co-Spiritual Leader, Reverend Dan Gerome
Rev. Dan is a native Nevadan. He moved from his hometown of Reno to Las Vegas in 2004. Shortly after, he sought out a spiritual home. He remembers walking into The Center for the first time, hearing Rev. Cynthia’s message, feeling the genuine love, acceptance and warmth of everyone and saying to himself, “I’m home – this is what I have been searching for my whole life!” It is a moment he says that he will never forget! t wasn’t long before Rev. Dan began taking Science of Mind (SOM) classes. He fell in love with the teaching, and he read everything he could get his hands on! As he continued to take SOM classes, it became very clear that his calling was to be a minister.
This decision was later confirmed after he took a workshop Rev. Cynthia taught entitled, “Discovering Your Soul’s Purpose.” With his intention clearly defined, he continued his SOM education, successfully completing the Professional Practitioner Studies and then entering into Ministerial Training. In 2011, he completed his Ministerial Training and was Installed as the Assistant Minister of his “Spiritual ‘home” – The Center.
When asked about his core beliefs, he says: “What I know to be true is that each one of us is a radically unique expression of the Divine. We are powerful creators and are capable of creating that which we desire to be, to do, and to have. It truly is possible to have a life filled with love, peace, joy, success and abundance. My very own life is a testament of how this is possible!”
Rev. Dan’s great love is speaking from the pulpit on Sundays, but he also thoroughly enjoys teaching SOM classes. He says that “There just isn’t anything like watching someone have that ‘A-HA’ moment – the moment that becomes the catalyst for them to let go of what no longer serves them, and the doorway for them to create something new and beautiful in their lives.” Rev. Dan invites you to join us at The Center where we offer unconditional love, the truest form of acceptance, and the gift of a powerful teaching that will help you transform your life. Co-Spiritual Leader, Reverend Staci Hylton
My great grandfather, J. Arthur Twyne, founded what is now known as LA Third (A Religious Science Church in Los Angeles, CA); therefore, Religious Science has always been a part of my life. I grew up attending Founder’s Church in Los Angeles, CA and as an adult attended Agape International Spiritual Center in Culver City, CA, but it was not until I attended classes at the Center that I truly understood the principles that have always been with me. The past several years have enriched my life immensely. I have met people on their spiritual path and now have a sense of purpose and intention for my own life. Licensed as a Professional Practitioner in 2010, I am a member of the Center’s Board of Trustees, and completed my Ministerial studies in June 2014.
My vision for my ministry is to use my gifts and talents and the tools learned in Religious Science to teach people to feel their own magnificence. I want people to live from a place of authenticity and realize that each and every one of us is love and loved and we all have special gifts to share. I know that this realization will create more acceptance and love and therefore change the world as we now know it.
I am now serving as an Assistant Minister and my duties include Volunteer Management as Co-Minister with Rev. Cheryl Bell, and I am also Co-Minister to the Practitioners with Rev Dan Gerome. My passion is teaching and I strongly believe in the education of the Practitioners. Practitioners do so much and give so much of their time that they really hold up our Center. I believe it is important to have at least one person dedicate themselves to their continued education and well-being. It is a job that certainly gives back, however it seems to me care givers don’t always do well when it comes to taking care of themselves. I am taking on the responsibility to ensure that they are appreciated, uplifted and inspired.
It is truly my pleasure to serve my community. Contact me at: email@example.com
Co-Spiritual Leader, Reverend Cheryl Bell
Rev. Cheryl Bell became a licensed minister in 2014 and has served this community as a licensed Practitioner since 2010. As a student of New Thought for more than 20 years, she was first introduced to the Science of Mind by a good friend and fellow minister, Rev. Staci Hylton.
Rev. Cheryl discovered Las Vegas Center for Spiritual Living shortly after moving to Las Vegas from Los Angeles, California, where she began seriously studying this teaching and serving this community.
Her role as Director of Education and Assistant Minister allows her to fulfill her personal mission statement of:
“My mission is to be of service to the surrounding community. My dream is for every person that crosses my path to see in themselves, their potential and their gifts. I feel like I am here to remind people of how wonderful they are, to remind them of their God selves.”
